Web Comics Published by Ryan Boucher @ 12:24 am

Some of you may know I co-write a web comic. For those that don’t know, you can find the link here at www.hardlywood.com/onthecusp. With our current arrangement I write or co-write the comic and James’ (Barny) writes the remainder, with some backwards and forthing as we wring out alluvial comedy gold. James’ is also responsible for 110% of the artwork. 110% because I jeopardise artistic quality more than I help.

By the time we actually release a comic it is, generally, no longer funny to us. We’ve seen it, read it, edited it so many times that its just not funny to us. I used to hear about this all the time when I watched the Futurama dvd commentary. Only now do I understand what they mean.

Today I was pleasantly surprised to find out James’ had posted a comic I had never participated in. It’s quite good and you should read it. The permalink is here.

The experiencing of new ideas, that are funny, is what I love about television comedy series and web comics. I recommend finding a couple of comics that are released on a semi-regular basis, several times a week, and subscribing to their feed.

Here are a couple of rss feeds to get you started (note: these are rss feeds, not html links):

Note: This may be a thinly disguised cross-promotional post… if it isn’t, here is the rss feed to my comic. Enjoy!

My Mug Ryan Boucher is a Software Inquisitor and is passionate about it. You can find a whole raft of articles and anecdotes about software testing and other topics he gets excited about.

    Have you ever read clichequest.com?
Just a bunch of comics about Everquest, with a few references to WoW on occasion.
