MoFAQ?

What are these tasty bites of which you so highly speak?

This is a moblog (short for moblogging) where one takes snaps from a mobile phone camera and posts them directly to teh interwubs automagically.

My moblog is slightly different from the norm as I will probably have small quotations or very short train of though posts that don’t really fit into my primary blog and yet aren’t deserving of a separate blog themselves.

How is the automagic achieved?

It is fairly simple. I didn’t invent it, as a matter of fact the first time I saw it was from my friend Grant. Basically it works as so. I have a flickr account which is linked to this blog. There is a special email address configured at flickr which, when it receives an email it has the authority to post here. The post is made, your RSS feed is updated and the cycle of life continues.

And the train of thought posts?

To keep the theme I will post these from my mobile via the intertubes. I don’t have to and in either case you can’t really tell.

Why do I want to see pictures of me?

I don’t know. This is mainly for me, I like doing things for me. You may interested. In all honesty this is primarily for my friends whom I don’t get to see as often as a I like. I can do this within the confines of a social networking site but not everyone is on the same site and I don’t want to force people into a my choice.

If you like what you see, feel free to keep watching. There shouldn’t be anything to racy unless there is a picture of me at a race track. Who knows. I do like Formula 1.

What kind of camera do you use?

It’s a Nokia N95 with a 5MP camera. All my shots will be visible on flickr with the EXIF information.
